Pack your bags, dust off the marshmallow skewers, and gather the crew—because the Roberts Family Reunion is officially on!
We’re coming together in January 2026 at the legendary Raincliff Youth Camp for a weekend full of love, laughter, and probably a few questionable dance moves. This is your golden opportunity to catch up with cousins you haven’t seen in years, finally figure out who belongs to who, and let the next generation of Roberts kids get to know each other beyond just Social Media photos.
With plenty of bunkrooms, caravan spaces, and fresh country air to go around, there’s room for everyone – from the early risers to the snorers (earplugs optional). The camp has shared kitchen and bathroom facilities, perfect for impromptu snack raids and late-night yarns. And for the brave among us, there’s a massive flying fox that promises laughter, maybe a scream or two, and definitely some unforgettable moments.
We’re planning all the good stuff: games, outdoor activities, a dip in the river (weather gods, be kind), a big shared BBQ and spit, and maybe even a family talent show – because let’s be honest, it’s not a Roberts reunion without someone busting out a guitar, an off-pitch choir singing to Shania Twain or ABBA (looking at the sisters), or a magic trick that may or may not work.
So mark your calendars, bring your stories, your smiles, and your sense of humour – it’s going to be a weekend to remember.

- 12 Rooms - 3x bunks (6x singles) in each
- BYO pillow, sleeping bag or bedding

Prices per weekend
- Adult = $40
- Under 16 Child = $20
- Day Visitor = $5
- Optional Kitty for necessities such as milk, bread, the spit etc

- Little-no Mobile Service
- No Dogs
- Opihi River is right next door - be aware
- Supervise your family (there is no camp mother)
- Clean up your own rubbish before leaving
- We have been approved to have alcohol on the premises, but just remember, this is a family get together - be responsible!

Friday 23rd
- Get keys at 3pm to Check in
- Families arrive and settle into rooms
- Organise own dinners (kitchen facilities available)
- Have a good nosey around the place
- Relax and say hi
Saturday 24th
- Shared Big Breakfast
- Lots of lawn games, playing and flying fox
- Organise own lunch
- River swim (hopefully)
- More games & lots of photos
- Family Photos!
- Set up big spit & BBQ for dinner
- Talent Show - for anyone to have a go!
- Big Shared Dinner - bring salads, sides, BBQ foods and drinks of course
- Projector movie for the kids
- Relax and have a drink!
Sunday 25th
- Organise own breakfast
- Shared Clean up of facilities and grounds
